Jon Barnes took the brand spanking new Caterham Seven 620 R out for its’ official launch and publicity photo shoot in Surrey this week.
The Caterham Seven 620 R is the most potent and hardcore road-going Seven yet. The car has a power to weight ratio of 580bhp per ton – 60bhp more than a Bugatti Veyron and 20bhp more than a McLaren F1. Prices start at £49,995.
Jon has been a part of the Caterham Seven 620 R’s development programme since the very start, back in August 2012. He has assisted in developing all areas of the car, including engine calibration and drivability, sequencial gearbox flat shift set up, suspension tuning and tyre evaluations.
